This online Confined Space Entry Awareness course provides an overview of confined spaces and explains how to safely manage confined space entries. This awareness course, designed for people who enter or manage entry of confined spaces, follows the CSA 1006-10 Management of Work in Confined Spaces standard.
A confined space is a type of space that is not intended for human occupancy and is subject to specific regulations. Confined spaces can be hazardous due to the presence of various hazards, such as arc flash events, which can be affected by factors such as the type of confined space and the hazards present. Workers who enter confined spaces must be qualified and trained in accordance with the requirements set forth by the regulating authority.
